What Is a PDF Merge, Split, and Reorder Tool?
This browser-based PDF organizer combines selected pages from multiple documents or separates one PDF into several files. Each source shows its page count and accepts ordered page expressions such as 1-3,5,8. Processing uses pdf-lib locally, so contracts, reports, scans, and statements are not uploaded to a conversion server.
How to Merge or Split PDF Pages
- 1Add PDFs one at a time; every successful upload is appended to the document list with its detected page count.
- 2For merging, move documents up or down and enter the pages to copy from each file. Leave a range blank to include every page.
- 3Generate the merged PDF, review the selected page total, and download the result.
- 4For splitting, choose one uploaded PDF and enter semicolon-separated groups such as 1-3;4-6;7,9. Each group becomes a separate downloadable PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. pdf-lib reads and writes the documents in your browser. Generated downloads remain local unless you upload them elsewhere.
Can I change individual page order?
Yes. Page expressions are copied in the order entered, so 4,1-2 places page 4 before pages 1 and 2. Repeated page numbers intentionally duplicate a page.
Will links, forms, or signatures always survive?
Copied pages preserve their visible page content, but advanced interactive structures, document-level metadata, forms, and digital-signature validity may not survive rewriting.
